Three BMW audio packages drive the amplifier you need: HiFi standard (option 676 — basic 8-channel), Top HiFi / Harman Kardon / Logic 7 (677 — 16-speaker premium DSP), and Bang & Olufsen High End (688 — flagship). The amp is usually mounted under the rear deck on sedans, in the trunk side panel on F-chassis, or in the spare-wheel well on X-models.
