About the BMW E92
The E92 was BMW's 3 Series coupe from 2006 through 2013, sharing platform with E90 sedan, E91 Touring, and E93 convertible. The E92 M3 (S65 V8, 7-speed DCT or 6-speed manual) ran 2008–2013 and is the last naturally-aspirated V8 M3 BMW produced. The mid-2010 LCI refresh updated headlights, tail lights, and brought CIC head unit replacing CCC.
E92 shares most interior, electronics, and lighting parts with E90 sedan — see our E90 page for cross-fitment notes. M3-specific parts (S65 engine items, M-DCT transmission, M3-only fenders and hood with power dome, larger brakes, M-only switchgear) are not interchangeable with regular E92 hardware.
E92 M3 is now a true collector car. Original parts in good condition appreciate; we list M3-specific items separately and disclose donor mileage when sourced. CCC and CIC head units, Logic 7 amps, and the M3-only interior trim are our most-asked E92 items.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the BMW E92
- Will E92 M3 parts fit a regular 335i coupe?
- Body, switchgear, lighting, infotainment, and most interior parts interchange. M3-specific parts (S65 V8, 7-speed DCT, M3-only fenders/hood with power dome, larger brakes, M-only seats, M-only steering wheel) are not interchangeable.
- What about E92 and E93 convertible compatibility?
- E92 (coupe) and E93 (convertible) share dashboards, electronics, infotainment, and most front-half body parts. Differences are rear-cabin and roof: E93 has the folding hardtop assembly, reinforced floor, and convertible-specific rear seats and trim. Doors are coupe-only on E92.
- What's the most common E92 issue to watch for?
- 335i N54 and N55 cars: HPFP (high-pressure fuel pump) failure, charge-pipe cracking, and turbo wastegate rattle. M3 S65: rod-bearing wear (check oil-analysis history), throttle-body actuators. These don't affect interior, electronics, or lighting parts but inform donor-car pricing.
- How do I find my BMW chassis code?
- Your chassis code is on the VIN plate inside the driver's door jamb, on the strut tower under the hood, and in your owner's manual under "Vehicle identification." It's a 3-character code like F30, E46, or G20 — the first letter is the platform generation and the digits are the body type. Searching by chassis is the single most reliable way to confirm BMW parts fitment.
- Are these genuine OEM BMW parts?
- Yes. Every part in our catalog was pulled from an actual BMW we acquired and dismantled in-house. We don't sell aftermarket or reproductions. Manufacturer part numbers in each title and the spec table are the same numbers you'll find in ETK/RealOEM for your VIN.
